    Rossbeigh Beach is a lovely long sandy beach ideal for family days out, horse trekking, long walks and water sports. Rossbeigh is located about 2 miles from the hotel. There is a great children's playground here. There is ample parking at the start of the beach and lots of places to eat in the nearby village of Glenbeigh making it an ideal choice for a day by the sea!

  • Take a ride on a Horse

    The Ring of Kerry is an ideal place to try your hand at horse riding. If you've always fancied the idea of riding through the surf on a beautiful beach or trekking leisurely along woodland paths then you have come to the right place. Glenbeigh has an AIRE approved horse trekking centre just minutes from the village,

  • Cycling & Hiking

    Cycling - The Ring of Kerry is the most spoken about cycle route in the county of Kerry and beyond.     Hiking - There is a wide choice, you can begin by walking the 4 mile sandy beach or ramble through the high sand dunes that stretch for 2 miles. There is also the beautiful Forest Walk, along the side of a mountain, which is a mile long and gives magnificent views of the village.

    If you enjoy fishing, Glenbeigh is the place for you. Its location on the Atlantic, surrounded by rivers and lakes, should be any angler's dream. Rossbeigh is great for shore anglers that enjoy beach-casting, spinning, plugging or saltwater fly fishing. For rivers, the upper and lower Caragh River and the Behy provide superb fishing.
